Food is good, service is good. It wasn't very friendly & welcoming as I thought it would be. Maybe they were just having a bad night.

Had the buffet on a night out with hubby. Not a big selection and honestly a little more extra effort to season the veggies would go a long way. However the meat loaf was great, they use real potatoes for the mashed potatoes and you definitely want to save room for dessert. All in all, not to bad and reasonable on price.

I had the Jim's ribeye.....best steak I've had in a year! Seasoned perfect...grilled on point med!! ....tender...great Service!!! Red headed waitress is awesome and keeps the tea coming !! Salad bar is kept fresh..... Very friendly....I recommend highly!! Reasonable for sure!! Great experience...we willie back!

Food is good, sometimes a lil salty,one dish that always makes me wonder,is the breaded Salisbury steak (salty) and so thin,good people tho.

Great mom & pop. The steak is what many will stop in for with great flavor in the "Jim" steak. I have eaten here several times now and I am impressed. Buffet available, a la carte available, private rooms available. I'm not sure if they serve anything local...

The food was ok. It was a couple of hours before closing. Maybe it is better earlier in the day. I am not to excited to go back.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. Burgers, fries, pizza, and buffets are excellent! It’s the kind of place where the waitresses call you “sweetie” and keep your glass filled.

I'm sitting in Applebee's eating my 8oz sirlion that I would have ordered at majestic but they would not let my ward who barely eats a whole cheeseburger order the 5oz Beef Tips. Mind you he has ordered them before when the owner was there. They wanted him to order the Kabobs but he doesn't eat mushrooms, onions or peppers.

Large fresh buffet at a good price. Sunday lunch is recommended.

Always has been a great place, been around for years. I have never received poor service, the food is top quality. They even manage to have a great buffet. Always tidy and seldom run low on buffet. It's the best Mayfield has to offer.

Buffet appeared popular (but in back room so not visible), salad bar with limited choices.(Suggestion: offer small bowl "one trip" salad for 99¢ instead of $3.99) Large selection of pizza, pasta, and steaks on menu. Disappointed in my pizza - very salty, not done well enough (as requested). Threw >3/4 away when I got home. Wait staff congregate in an area overlooking dining area, chatting and flipping their hair. Diners arrived in a steady flow from 4:40pm. Outdoor seating available.

It was my grandmothers 99th birthday. They made her feel so special. The buffet was hot with many choices.

Salad bar and desserts are great! Buffet has a good variety of meats and veggies, plus more desserts, ice cream, and pizza. I had cabbage last week and it was so good I ate it for dessert, too. Today, I had turnip greens and they were undescribly bad: no salt, no seasoning of any kind, and was just a poor quality canned greens. The fried chicken is very good.

They sell you a buffet but they charge extra for the salad bar. On Sunday the salad bar is included with the buffet but they charge you more for the buffet. They're not doing nothing for no one. Never heard of that being done before. Their food is barely up to par.

The fish and cherry cobbler were worth the price!Friendly staff. I would recommend this food. They have something for everyone.

Steak was really dry when I asked for it Medium Rare I chose vegetables for my side and they were extremely watery and mushy

Very slow service if not getting the buffet. Salmon was awesome though.

The food was subpar I just ordered off the buffet. It could be a little better, it usally is, maybe I got there at a wrong time. But service was good and food was alright.

Pizza finally came out long after my husband finished his meal.

The food was good they should change the BBQ chicken to something else it tasted like shake and bake chicken. But the service was great. Very clean place. Will go back to try some other stuff. The potatoes need some seasoning very bland.

Good food to eat there and always been great

The pizza is great, the buffet is mainly retirement home food with bland mac and cheese and meatloaf. They don't change their fryer oil so the fried fish just tastes burnt. It was alright here but there are better options.
